The USS Theodore Roosevelt Incidents (2014-2015)

Between 2014 and 2015, the crew of USS Theodore Roosevelt documented several encounters with unidentified aerial objects off the American Atlantic coast. These incidents involved experienced combat pilots and generated official reports from the U.S. Navy.

The USS Theodore Roosevelt incidents represent one of the most documented series of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) encounters involving senior-level American military personnel. Between 2014 and 2015, the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt, operating off the east coast of the United States, recorded several incidents involving anomalous aerial phenomena observed by F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter pilots.

Background

USS Theodore Roosevelt is a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier of the United States Navy, one of the most advanced military vessels in the world. In 2014-2015, the ship was conducting training and patrol operations along the American Atlantic coast. During this period, several fighter squadrons reported observations of flying objects behaving in exceptional ways, defying the known aerodynamic capabilities of conventional aircraft.

The Facts

The incidents were documented by experienced military pilots and recorded via the ship's onboard radar and detection systems. The observations included objects moving at extreme speeds, demonstrating maneuvers impossible for conventional aircraft, and disappearing from radar without explanation.

Harvard's Avi Loeb Leads Trump's New UAP Science Advisory Council

A new Scientific Advisory Council established by the Trump Administration to study UAPs is being led by Harvard professor Avi Loeb, former chair of the university's astronomy department. The Council is working to get access to as much information as possible, starting with what's been publicly released, while Loeb has floated a number of controversial theories on possible alien life.

German Government Admits No UAP Reporting System Exists

In a formal parliamentary response, Germany's federal government confirmed it maintains no dedicated reporting channel for unidentified aerial phenomena, possesses no specialized UAP findings, and has no plans to create standardized reporting procedures for pilots and air traffic controllers observing anomalous objects.

Pentagon's Batch 7 Reveals Skinwalkers, Black Triangles, and a Century of Sightings

Pentagon's latest UFO files released October 23 document mysterious flying objects, strange seven-foot creatures, alleged skinwalkers, and decades of sightings off the California coast as part of the PURSUE program launched in May 2026. A three-page AARO memo (DOW-UAP-D176) describes a 2026 encounter at an undisclosed national security site in the western US where two federal agents witnessed a matte-black, triangular craft. Pentagon-linked investigation documents claim of strange creatures and a possible portal near Utah's Skinwalker Ranch from a 2010 BAASS investigation that interviewed over 25 witnesses.
