R: The factor 10^{11} is (10^11)^9 OK. The 5 ?
They tell us in tweet 65 that the smallest possible angular deviation is about 6×10^{-11} radian (this would be verified experimentally). Hence by dividing 2π by this smallest angular deviation one finds about 10^{11} since 2π is approximately equal to 6.3. This factor 10^{11}, is thus about the number of elemental rotations to complete a full turn (2π), it is also the number of possible choices to set an angle between 0 and 2π.
Then for me it is clearly less clear. Let's say that given the way the calculation is presented, one immediately thinks of a classical calculation in combinatorics or discrete probability. We are told, I copy over truncating (rather reread the full tweets 65 and 67): -- "There are therefore, in practice, only about 10^{11} distinct angular orientations between one dimension and the T axis in the interval from 0 to 2 pi in each degree of freedom" -- "Each combination of possible orientations across the 9 free dimensions constitutes a WAAM (universe)." -- ".. the edges [of each trihedra] are elastic and articulated at each vertex according to 9 degrees of freedom, one of the vertices being articulated around the T axis. Hence the first factor (10^11)^9 to fix an angle for an axis relative to the time axis T. Then I think we must say that we have just fixed one degree of freedom, so there are 8 left, hence a factor (10^{11})^8 = 10^{88}. And so on, until we go down to just 1 degree of freedom left, which gives the last factor 10^{11}. But my understanding is very superficial, I don't understand anything in detail about these stories of trihedra associated with I.B., really for me it's very vague when I read tweets 65 and 67, the link with the formula given for 10^{495} does not seem so obvious to me.
