Ummo Letter 446

Mr. Enrique López Guerrero MAIRENA DE ALCOR (Spain) Sir: We have followed with interest in the Spanish press during these last months your statements regarding our brothers on a mission on planet EARTH. We do not wish to alarm you by presenting the minor disturbances that your articles have caused us following the initial information published in the ABC edition circulated in Seville, nor the disruptions that the exaggerated dissemination of your testimony may still provoke. Belonging to a prestigious ecclesiastical group in SPAIN, one could expect the enormous psychosocial impact of your opinion. We understand that you feel no moral obligation towards us to maintain strict confidentiality, since until today you have not received a direct request from us in this regard. Whether you violate or not other commitments regarding your brothers who inform you is a matter on which we wish to maintain a respectful silence as we should not interfere in the private lives of OEMMIOYAGAA (this is how we name you). We suspect what degree of moral suffering your brothers' misunderstanding, as well as that of your hierarchical superiors, has implied for you, before a reaction that may have been erroneous or generated by unconscious motivations but which consciously responded to a much purer intentionality. We beg your pardon for having been the indirect cause of this situation. Now that the effects seem to have abated, we wish to write to you, not with the intention of convincing you, but to present our judgment impartially. We realize the enthusiasm with which you welcomed the news of our existence. It would be paradoxical for you to reproach us for your strong adherence, but somehow you were already familiar, thanks to the copies provided by your correspondents, with our cautious rules that forbid any attempt on our part to dangerously reveal to you our real presence on EARTH. It was to be expected that our exaggerated secrecy would provoke various reactions among you. Beings who, while living daily among you, hide under false names guaranteed by fake passports and documents, who send surprising typewritten leaflets to personalities of different nationalities, who have prolonged telephone conversations on very heterogeneous subjects, and who identify themselves as travelers from a distant planet when the current science of EARTH cannot seriously consider the possibility of such travels—would they not have other more or less immoral intentions? It is therefore inevitable that hypotheses of different kinds proliferate regarding the reasons a "group of men" might have to act in this singular manner (in the attached note, we summarize some of the ingenious interpretations we have gathered from your brothers). We feel guilty for having created this confusion among you, but it is impossible to avoid such speculation with facts so rare and in conflict with logical postulates currently prevailing on EARTH. That is why, Mr. López Guerrero, we wish at least to clarify for you certain aspects of our stay in Spain and our current conduct, as my brothers in other countries on EARTH are now doing to somewhat clarify the psycho-atmosphere created among informed minorities. There is no reason to hide anything from you about what we are currently doing. We only omit what could serve to locate us and provide definitive proof of our existence. In this brief historical summary, we limit ourselves to the Spain and Portugal area, as well as to your brothers whose identity is familiar to you or to your brother-friends from Seville, Barcelona, and Madrid. OUR ACTIVITIES IN SPAIN. Our first residence in Spain was chosen in a quiet town, Albacete. A lady, animal-loving, gave shelter to my two brothers, who were able, during their necessary confinement, to carry out the first psychophysiological experiments with EARTH mammals, until some rumors among nearby inhabitants made a relocation advisable. With another brother coming from Australia, they established their residence in Barcelona, where the first contact took place with an expressed declaration of our identity to a Spanish intellectual who, although he refused our testimony, has so far remained faithful to his promise. Bilbao and Madrid were the next centers of activities. Museums, newspaper libraries, churches, libraries, archives, and official centers constituted the most important study objectives. The first relationship with Spanish UFO enthusiasts, amateurs, interested parties, researchers in the field of hypothetical extraterrestrial relations took place. This involved controlling an enormous amount of printed material. Until then, the few attempts to establish contact with you were limited to some intellectuals in Spain who were not familiar with these subjects. Only a university professor seemed to pay some attention when we offered him objective proof of our stay. Relations with him continued until June 1967. The interest shown in men studying UFOs, OVNIs or VEDs, was not only due to emotional reasons or spiritual harmony. Shortly after our first arrival in France, we realized that OYAAGAA was experiencing a real increase in visual sightings of lenticular ships commonly called “flying saucers.” Eliminating the high percentage of errors, fabrications, optical illusions, and media exaggerations, it was indisputable that apart from ourselves you were the object of prospecting and studies by other galactic civilizations unknown both to my brothers and to you. Later we confirmed this assertion by detecting some OAWOLEA UEWA. We could think that their behavior might – in some cases – be comparable to ours, daring to settle down and mix their OEMMI with the men of EARTH in cases where their anatomical structure, like ours, did not present dangerously different traits. According to this assumption, the only possibility of establishing contact with them was based on the hypothesis that the most probable intermediaries would be: Men of science and humanists of EARTH. Religious authorities. People interested in the UFO phenomenon. Government departments. The mathematical expectation of achieving any relationship through these means was very low, especially ingenuously assuming that you consciously accepted to serve as a link. But we did not dismiss the possibility of using some psychological subterfuge that would allow us to use you as an unconscious and harmless link so that we could get in touch with them. Two cases confirmed our intuition. In the United States of North America, the bibliographed account of a Flying Saucer landing revealed to my brothers on mission there very valuable facts that served to demonstrate that we were not mistaken. Nevertheless, when we tried to locate them, they had evacuated the country. The second discovery was made by my brothers in Madrid at the end of 1965. A modest publication called "Diez Minutos" periodically included a section entitled "The Extraterrestrials Speak" signed by a Spaniard: Fernando Sesma. The content of the writings appeared to us of little intellectual interest, full of repetitions and plagiarisms of aberrant ideas, and esoteric and magical fantasies. The author revealed himself as a credulous man, with a certain humanistic education and an almost non-existent scientific level. In the context, curious "symbolic" messages appeared from time to time, which the author attributed to extraterrestrial communicators. Their analysis initially revealed nothing to us that proved such an origin. But my brothers’ astonishment reached its peak when, by submitting one of them to our analysis unit, we discovered an unusual encrypted content. It was not a complicated cipher system. Simply, Spanish words with an even number of letters were assimilated to the digit zero and those with an odd number to the digit one. The probability that such a version was meaningful in a code known only by social networks of a high cultural and technical level was close to zero. It was practically impossible that the author of the articles had invented this message. We can assure that no man of EARTH currently can know its meaning. However, the coded message was incomplete. We eagerly analyzed the successive writings. Our study was disturbed by the possibility that the originals had been altered by the author or inadvertently by the linotype operator. My brothers even decided to intervene secretly in Fernando Sesma’s correspondence (we beg this brother to forgive us for the violation of his privacy). It was not necessary to wait long. A second message attributed to an entity named "Saliano" incorporated the rest of the encrypted information (the literal content was uninteresting to us and we tended to judge that its apparent symbolism was a futile excuse). At that moment, we had established contact with Mr. Fernando Sesma by phone. A simple "test" confirmed to us his genuine good faith and his low credibility, not without a critical spirit. We handed him a banknote with an anagram and a fragment of glazed ceramic on which we had drawn graphics next to our insignia. (S73-B) (NdW: This banknote is not part of the letter, since it was sent to Sesma and not to Guerrero, but since it is referenced here, we decided to include it here. See the caption of this letter for more details concerning the history of this banknote.) His reactions shed quite a bit of light on his personality. He eventually opened up to my brothers, who periodically gave him reports on our culture, written in a style understandable to him and his friends. The leader of our expedition at the time was one of our young sisters, who gradually authorized five microsocial contact experiments with the men of EARTH. The countries selected were Spain, Canada, Australia, and two other nations for which we prefer to omit the names as the process is ongoing. We owe the kindness of your brother Fernando Sesma for making it possible for this psychosocial test to be conducted. He was running an intellectual salon in the basement of an establishment in Madrid for men and women passionate about transcendent themes related to UFOs. Mr. Fernando Sesma had requested an objective testimony of our identity. Through a messenger, we gave him a sample proof of one of our simple UULAYA NAI procedures (see note 2). Thus began one of our most interesting experiments to determine how a small group of OEMII-EARTH would react to the news of our existence. The Spanish microsocial sample received the written testimonies we gave them more coldly than the Canadians. Conditions, such as those of previous meetings and the damaged prestige of F.S.M. (Ed.: Fernando Sesma Manzano), led listeners toward greater skepticism. This confirmed to my brothers that the danger of being believed and accepted, in case our relations opened even more, was minimal. We could operate with impunity while communicating with you, without falsifying our testimony. At the time, we had obtained many other pieces of information concerning the social behavior of Spaniards. This experiment was stopped by the evacuation of all my brothers to OYAGAA in June 1967. At the same time, our research concerning the identity of the strange correspondent of F.S.M. allowed us to reach six conclusions which I present to you, omitting two of a secret nature. That indeed F.S.M. succeeded in establishing contact on OYAGAA with foreign OEMII under the pseudonym of Saliano. That abusing the good faith of F.S.M., other of his brothers appropriated the said pseudonym for a time (at certain moments), sending him false messages which created confusion that was easy to guess. That the heteroplanetary OEMII in contact with your brother Sesma carried out very dangerous psychological experiments on men from EARTH, provoking pathological effects of etiologically difficult diagnosis. That we doubt the code deciphered by chance was addressed to the attention of Mr. Sesma and even less to ours. Our attempts to communicate with them were rejected. Some warnings to your brother F. Sesma about the risks such contacts involved were not taken seriously. This is doubly painful because this honorable man is simple, intelligent, loving of nature, and totally open to new spiritual experiences. His noble attitude transformed him into a victim of his brothers and an object of experimentation by some beings whose purity of intentions is not at all clear to us. Obviously, we totally reject the real existence of this whole series of supposed planets described by the informants of Sesma Manzano (AUCO, NIQUIVIL, etc.). The primitive study methods have considerably changed upon our return to EARTH, initiating a new phase of analysis.
