Letter Ummo 852

04/29/18 In one of the studies submitted by the supposed men from 'Umo', mention was made of a famous North American cardiologist, as the man who received another series of scientific reports from them. After locating him by identity and address, I sent him a cautious exploratory letter dated March 4, 1966, to which he replied on March 13 of the same year, and I keep it logically in my file of this matter as a new valuable testimony. In his kind response, he begins by expressing surprise that a Spanish doctor like me has made contact with these gentlemen from Umo. He continues by expressing a series of concerns regarding this matter, and after being completely convinced of the extraterrestrial origin of our mysterious men, invites me to observe a rule of silence. I regret to disagree with my illustrious Yankee colleague regarding these last two perspectives, accusing him of lacking nuance. Nonetheless, his testimony constitutes undeniable proof concerning the fact that their activities are not confined solely to the Iberian Peninsula as I initially believed. In conclusion, I assess: It is undoubted that we are facing individuals with a very high scientific and technical cultural background, equipped with means unknown to at least myself and the two other witnesses I know (the Doctor of Medicine from the USA that I mentioned and the young Certified Public Accountant). At least in the field of Medicine, they show truly fabulous erudition. (I have had telephone conversations with two of the supposed visitors) Based on this, can we conclude that their claims about their supposed extraterrestrial origin are certain? I believe we must tread carefully on such slippery ground. I have not personally seen these individuals. The only testimony I have is from the Young Man mentioned and his wife, who describe them as normal people similar in complexion to individuals of German or Nordic nationality. I find it very suspicious that beings from another supposed Planet lack atypical morphological traits. I refuse to believe that individuals from any inhabited Planet could present a physiology similar to that of our Earth human species. I cannot imagine how they can travel from there knowing that even traveling at maximum possible speed, their journey would last 14 years. In this regard, I cannot conceal a fact that carries serious importance concerning such a hypothesis. I obviously recognize that throughout our telephone conversations I have never been able to observe a single mistake, a single fault in the scientific exposition of their reports. I have not recorded a single instance in the context of their typewritten studies of incorrect data or any obvious contradiction with their subsequent claims. But I remember that in a certain conversation (and their words were recorded on tape) they indicated to me that a certain journey made by them to Australia lasted only about eight months. How can such a claim be consistent with their version of distance to this supposed Planet (14 years)? I acknowledge that Physics and Astronautics are not precisely my own fields of expertise, but in principle, I do not understand this anomaly. To the point of preferring not to ask them the reason for this obvious contradiction in order not to highlight it. I recognize that despite everything, the previous objections do not form a homogeneous body of doctrine.
