"Letter Ummo 908"

Because it was delicate to give the drawings to this man, we said they were illustrations by an artist for a book, and I did not give it much importance, but he delayed a bit in returning the work, and since it was like a favor, it was not something to rush. Do you remember that, in my last letter, I said I had spoken to another gentleman who made copies for the gentlemen from Ummo? Because he finally even told me he knew they were here on Earth and told me it was unimportant to tell you. What I have not declared or wanted to say, because this gentleman is very secretive, is whether he has returned or if they did not all leave on the first of June or if they were in Spain. I believe they are not in Spain and that explains why they have not come back to my place, for I always behaved this way with them and they could not complain. We just have to keep waiting silently. I promise you that if I know anything I will inform you, and likewise if you happen to speak with them, tell them I am at the new home they know, and although the phone is not the same and the new one is not in the directory, let them ask for it for me at the telephone company now; please make sure to do this carefully and wait until there is news from them because if I get impatient and hold a new meeting, it would harm them. After having news, whether I send you the copies of the uewa-oemm report (which I am sending you) or not, as I have already promised everyone and made the copies and photos, then they will tell me I can send it to another engineer; I do not believe they will say I failed.
